Dr. Mohd Salleh Koyakoti

Personal Details


Since 1993 Salleh Koyakoti has been involved in designing, developing and implementing Holistic Organization Transformation Systems in public and private sector organization, in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and The Republic of South Africa. The systems constitute an organization development program, which uses process consultation methodology. The instrument is derived from his hands-on experience of installing systematic planned change in a wide variety of organization using a systems-based internationally franchised program. Over a span of nearly a decade and a half (since 1986) the installations covered organizations in the manufacturing, finance and insurance, plantation, real estate and other services.

Before venturing into consultancy he had a short stint as the chief executive officer of a company involving in quarrying, asphalt production, palm oil and rubber estate management. Began his career in the Prime Minister's Department, Malaysia as a member of the Malaysian Administrative and Diplomatic Service. From 1974 to 1984, he was a faculty member of the National Institute of Public Administration Malaysia (INTAN).

Completed his undergraduate education in economics at the University of Malaya; post graduate studies with Diploma in Development Administration and Master of Public Administration at the Institute of Social Studies, the Hague, Netherlands, and obtained Ph.D in Public Policy at the Nelson A Rockefeller College of Public Affairs, State University New York. Prior to that he was made the Fellow of Economics Development Institute, the World Bank. Subsequently, he was awarded a Diploma in Applied International Management by IFL, The Swedish Institute of Management, Stockholm. He also has training exposure in Defense Economics.

During his sojourn at INTAN, he made several contributions to local and international professional journals. Currently he maintains a research interest in organizational performance enhancement through people development.
