Major (Rtd) Latiff is an experience trainer for UTB. During his military career for 23 years, he had specialized in training, operations and management. In his career with the private sector for 15 years, he had broaden his area of experiences in corporate management, safety & security, communications, training and operations.
Commissioned as a regular officer from The Royal Military College and absorbed to the Royal Artillery Regiment, he has held various capacities i.e. field command, lecturer, trainer and administration. During his tenure of service with the MAF, he had attended various courses locally and abroad. He had obtained a Diploma at Armed Forces Staff College, Haigate which encompassed Kesban Project (Internal Security) ,management studies, command & staff and communications . Prior to his optional retirement, he has had the honour to serve for world peace under the flagship of the United Nations in Liberia (West Africa) for 1 1/2 years.
In the private sector, Major Latiff had indulged in some major appointments. He was the Head of Safety & Security, Head of the Residential Games Village for SUKOM 98, Head of Malaysia Airport Cleaning (KLIA) to world standards and an Associate Trainer for PMAC.PMACC and QOM Solutions. Most of his training are focused on Motivation, Peak Performance Team Building, Operations, Safety & Security and communications. Some major training conducted with associate companies includes Petronas Mitco Japan, Maybank Group at MLC, Digi Group, QBE Group, TNB Group, Ajinomoto Group, Maxis Group, and etc.
Major Latiff is fun learning base approach assist participants to overcome any challenges set forth and accelerates their learning. He meticulously designs training with utmost safety requirements enforced. All his training activities are learning objective base and relates effectively to the organizations work place. His far reaching knowledge had given a heavy impact on team building programs.
He has successfully combined fun learning, discipline, safety and corporate management into adventurous challenges for participants and thus, making it enjoyable cost effective. Currently, he is responsible for the conduct of corporate war game, adventure learning and a consultant and trainer with Universal Team Builders.
